Attorney

Katlyn Winters.

A Seguin native with trust administration depth from a corporate trustee and estate planning experience from a San Antonio practice. Brings a quiet, careful approach to special needs planning.

First.Background

Katlyn grew up in Seguin, Texas, and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in sociology. She earned her J.D. cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Women’s Law Association. While in law school, she also worked at the St. Mary’s University School of Law Center for Legal and Social Justice, advocating for clients in consumer law cases under attorney supervision.

After law school, Katlyn worked in estate planning and probate in San Antonio, where she developed a passion for the area of law and learned the importance of planning for all stages of life. She then gained extensive experience in trust administration — including special needs trust administration — working as a fiduciary administrator for a large corporate trustee. That trust-administration foundation now anchors her work for the firm’s clients.

In her free time, Katlyn enjoys watching the newest action movie, attending CrossFit classes, and most of all, spending time with her two fur-babies, Knight and Magnum.
