Attorney

Elizabeth Ziegler.

An Austin native who came to estate planning before law school and built her education around it. Focused on planning, probate, and the work of helping families think ahead.

First.Background

Elizabeth is an Austin native who grew up in the Georgetown area. She came to estate planning before law school — her goal during her education was to focus on the field and help families both plan ahead and navigate the probate process when the time comes.

During law school at St. Mary’s University, Elizabeth focused on estate planning and legal research. She interned with the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid office and in Probate Court No. 2 of Bexar County. She also worked as a student attorney in St. Mary’s Civil Justice — Family Law clinical program, where she focused on estate planning and estate administration cases. She joined the Dean’s Research Fellows during her time at school, providing legal research for the Dean and faculty on topics ranging from commercial paper to products liability to Chinese tort law.

In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys relaxing with a good book, an engrossing TV series, or a video game. She continues to grow by learning new languages and continuing her study of world history.
